Coach calls for Swedes to exclude Russia from participating in the Biathlon World Championship

Coach of the Swedish Biathlon German Wolfgang Pichler is planning to make his appeal to the International Biathlon Union (IBU) to remove the entire national team of Russia from participation in the World Championship in Ponchange 14-22 February - because of the positive doping samples of three of our athletes.

According to the agency "All Sports" from the scene, Wolfgang Pichler last few days is verbal agitation and collecting signatures coaches of national teams already in Ponchange.

Captions are under going to the IBU to remove the entire national team of Russia from participation in the World Championship-2009. Precise data on the number and nationality of signatories is now no.

On Friday during a press conference IBU, which will be announced the names and extent of punishment athletes, Wolfgang Pichler will publicly present the appeal to the IBU with a list of all signatories.
